NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH

West Close has an established NHW scheme within the Sea Lane estate (West Close, South Walk & East Close) and is part of the area covered by the MIddleton on Sea Association which has a greater NHW communication pyramid.    (Not sure what this means!!) Needs rewriting and we need more about NHW generally across the estate.

In my job I worked closely with City of London police on crime prevention and came to believe in the benefits of Neighbourhood Watch schemes in general. I became road co-ordinator about seven years ago when my predecessor stood down.
